I take the ferry to Sicily tonight, and arrive tomorrow morning. Then I race up Italy to meet Meredith in Biella on the 13th. Or wherever she tells me to meet her. I hope it's Biella, just because of logistics. I don't have room for her on the bike!
I received word that the passport and visas are all done, and have been sent to Erika's parents in Biella. That is certainly good news. If you ever need help with visas for Russia and Central Asia, David Burghof with STANtours is the go-to guy.
