I was on the road in good time, headed for Sierra BMW for the parts. I arrived as they opened at 9:00, and got some parts. I decided I really needed to change tires for the ride home, as the TKC 80s are too rough on the pavement.
I bought some Metzler Tourances, and the Marvelous Mr. McKay found time in the shop day to get them mounted. But I had to take everything off the bike. That was easy, but re-rigging it took a bit longer than I wanted. I tried to avoid the freeways in Sparks/Reno, which worked until I ignored a sign and got lost in the suburbs for awhile.
I'm in Carson City for 2 cheeseburgers and a large iced coffee. $4.70 including a 33 cent "eat in tax." Apparently it is tax worthy to eat inside. Go figure.
I will ride a little further, looking for a camp some where. Maybe Yosemite?
Party on!
Sounds like a good cheeseburger deal to me, even with the eat-in tax!
